The author, Robert E. Donaldson, for many years a Minister in
The Presbyterian Church in America,
completed his theological training in
Westminster Theological Seminary, Philadelphia,
being ordained in New Zealand in 1966.

Dux of Scotch College, Melbourne and one of the first five students in the State of Victoria at that level, he was Council scholarship winner to that school and to Ormond College, at Melbourne University, where he has completed his B.A., M.A. (Hons). and Dip.Ed. , while the B.D. was gained from Westminster and
the Th.D. at the Berean Graduate School of Divinity.

In 2000-2001, he received various awards, including the title,
International Man of the Year,
from the International Biographical Centre, Cambridge, England, and since that time
has received many more, from England and the USA.

Converted to the Lord Jesus Christ in April 1952, he has found a pressing need to provide testimony to this same living Lord,
according to His written word, the Bible,
in various pastoral works in Australia, New Zealand,
Canada and the U.S..

In these places, the current trend to tailoring a new Christ
to the cultural mandates of degenerating mankind, he
has been called to confront, with the subtleties of Satan, by the gracious hand of the Lord,
met as the Lord's work has been done in numbers of churches,
in Quebec, Colorado, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Indianapolis,
Cleveland, Chicago, Melbourne and Adelaide .

In Melbourne, 1953-1954 he gave testimony
when challenged in Seminary
concerning the historical and evangelical accuracy of the Bible,
was wrongly accused, removed from seminary,
but eventually vindicated and received by a large majority
in the General Assembly of Australia, in 1964, in Sydney,
one of the mighty acts of deliverance of the Lord
who is as able now as in the days of Daniel,
in such works of intervention for His people.

In New Zealand in 1966, as Assembly member,
he vigorously condemned a cardinally false doctrine concerning the resurrection of Christ -
emanating from the N.Z. Seminary and there occupying the national press.
Against this, he continued a pastoral campaign, moving by Overture from his local church to the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of New Zealand.

On the floor of that body, in 1966, he formally registered his dissent
from the heresy, both orally,
without any other member in known accompaniment,
and in support of this step, by sending to the Assembly official,
a large document with analysis exposing
the departure of that body from the Faith, a response provided for by the rules.

This departure, by the N.Z. General Assembly's abandonment of
the bodily resurrection of Christ as fundamental to the faith,
like the formal registration of dissent,
was something done IN ASSEMBLY ITSELF.
It represents an episode of extreme prophetic significance,
paralleled by many more such, in these last decades.

Such things being non-negotiable and foundational,
after due testimony to that church and nation,
he left to continue his ministerial work in the U.S.
(see also Biblical Blessings Ch. 11
where this and some other experiences in combating unbelief are shown).

Since 1970, he has returned to his home country, Australia,
where this Web work is proceeding
in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to the Bible's command,
giving a reason for the faith to those who ask,
providing Biblical exegesis and testimony
to the saving power and changeless vitality
of the Lord Jesus Christ, and help to those who require it.

He has acted as Principal and Headmaster in Colleges,
and engaged in Lecturing at the tertiary level, in Communications.
Currently he pastors an independent Presbyterian church in Adelaide.

Believing from a careful study of the Biblical evidence,
that the coming of the Lord is drawing near,
we now freely offer to the Web these helps, presentations,
challenges and strengthenings.
Especially concerned for those captured like snared flies
in the theological and philosophical webs,
and not least the young,
we have published this work, trusting it will serve many.
