The author, an Australian, is a Minister in The Presbyterian Church in America, ordained in New Zealand in 1966. Converted to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1952, he has found a need for testimony to Him, preaching and teaching in various pastoral works in Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the U.S., where the current trend to tailoring a new Christ to the cultural mandates of degenerating mankind has been confronted, and the subtleties of Satan met as the Lord's work has been done in numbers of churches.

He has also acted as Principal and Headmaster in colleges, and engaged in Lecturing at the tertiary level, in Communications.

Believing that the coming of the Lord is drawing near, he now offers to the Web these helps, challenges and strengthenings.

Especially concerned for those captured like flies in the theological, academic and philosophical webs, and not least the young, we have published this work, trusting it will serve many.
